Why do we gather together?
The Global Changing Challenges (GCC), a gathering of IDRN members, has been held every two years since 2013. The fifth meeting took place in Indonesia in 2022. The sixth meeting will be held in Korea in 2024 under the theme “Together, We are in Global Disaster Response “. This meeting is called the IDRN International Leaders Forum.
The purpose of the Korea Leaders’ Forum is to enhance participants’ disaster response capabilities through case presentations and expert training, and to connect IDRN Global members scattered around the world. It also aims to learn about the situation on the Korean Peninsula and prepare them to provide relief to North Koreans who are facing economic and social disaster as part of the reunification process.
Let’s respond to various disasters that can strike at any time in the global community and prepare for the reunification of North and South Korea together.
