The Global Changing Challenges (GCC), gathering of IDRN members, which has been held every two years since 2013, will be held in Korea for the sixth gathering in 2024 after the fifth in Indonesia in 2022 and its theme is “Together, We are in Global Disasters Respond “.

The IDRN Korea, International Leaders Forum is an international conference for experts and members of IDRN who provide relief for victims of disasters, to share their experiences, to learn from each other, and to prepare for the future disasters.

The purpose of the Korea Leaders’ Forum is to enhance participants’ capabilities for the disaster response through case studies, training experts and to connect IDRN members in the world from the past to the future.

Furthermore, through the forum, we want to let the participants know about the situation of South and North Korea in this Peninsula and the present condition of preparation for providing relief to North Koreans who are facing Economic Collapse and Social Disaster, as a part for the reunification process. 

To achieve this goal, we will cooperate with international disaster relief activists, experts, organizations, members of IDRN Korea, and North Korean defectors. We will hold together and expand the role of IDRN Korea in the global community. 

Let’s prepare to respond to various future disasters that may occur in the global community and let’s work together for the victims of the social disaster in North Korea when South and North Korea will be reunified.
